Command & Control
COP integration, operational workflows, data-layer management, and decision-support alignment.
Veteran-owned defense and human-performance technology
Obsidian Core Innovations is advancing a dual-use technology mission: AI-enabled systems and robotics for demanding operational environments, adapted to improve mobility and independence for disabled veterans.
Focused support for defense, government, and mission partners operating where information quality, system availability, and trained personnel directly affect outcomes.
COP integration, operational workflows, data-layer management, and decision-support alignment.
Practical security engineering and operational resilience across mission-support environments.
Human-centered automation that helps teams organize, validate, and act on complex information.
Integration planning, requirements alignment, sustainment, and lifecycle-focused technical support.
Dual-use concepts spanning wearable robotics, adaptive assistance, human-machine integration, and mobility support.
OCI's long-term R&D direction is to translate advances in sensing, autonomy, adaptive control, and wearable robotics between defense operations and veteran rehabilitation.
Mission one
Explore AI-enabled robotics and sensor-fusion concepts intended to improve endurance, awareness, load management, and operator effectiveness in austere environments.
Mission two
Adapt the same enabling technologies toward assistive-mobility solutions for veterans living with spinal cord injuries, lower-limb amputations, and related mobility limitations.
Flagship development concept
Adaptive Predictive Exoskeleton
APEX is OCI's proposed modular exoskeleton concept: a platform intended to combine real-time sensing, adaptive assistance, and human-centered controls. The vision is a technology architecture that can support warfighter performance research while informing future assistive-mobility applications for veterans with spinal cord injuries and lower-limb amputations.
OCI's mission connects operational experience with an unmet human need: technology developed for demanding missions should also help injured veterans regain mobility, autonomy, and quality of life.
